The obverse features Arif Heralić a Bosnian Roma metal worker on a blast furnace in Zenica with the lettering ‘NARODNA BANKA JUGOSLAVIJE’ (NATIONAL BANK OF YUGOSLAVIA), and the denomination.

The reverse features at the centre, the numeric value with the lettering ‘DESET DINARA’ (TEN DINARA) on the left, and ‘SOCIJALISTICKA FEDERATIVNA REPUBLIKA JUGOSLAVIJA’ (SOCIALIST FEDERATIVE REPUBLIC OF YUGOSLAVIA) on the right.
