2005 Australia 50c Remembrance

The 2005 commemorative Australia Fifty cent issue celebrates the 60th Anniversary of World War II – Remembrance.

Featuring the 4th portrait of Queen Elizabeth II facing right wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara, with lettering ‘ELIZABETH II’, ‘AUSTRALIA 2005’ and the engraver’s initials ‘IRB’.

On the reverse, Soldiers and Priest at a Military cemetery scene with lettering ‘WORLD WAR 1939-1945 REMEMBRANCE’, the engraver’s initials ‘WP’ and ‘FIFTY CENTS’.
