1941 Canada 10 cents

The 1941 Canadian 10-cent piece features the portrait of King George VI facing left surrounded with the inscription “GEORGIVS VI D:G:REX ET IND:IMP” in latin.

Translation: George VI, King and Emperor of India by the grace of God

On the reverse, the Bluenose under sail, a Canadian schooner from Nova Scotia, a celebrated racing ship and a symbol of the province, surrounded with the face value and the inscription “CANADA”, the year 1947, and denomination “10 CENTS”
