1862 Half Penny

The 1862 UK halfpenny obverse features the laureate bust of Queen Victoria facing left, hair in a bun (bun head). The surrounding legend reads:
‘VICTORIA D:G: BRITT:REG:F:D:’

The reverse shows the helmed Britannia seated facing right, holding a trident, hand resting on a shield, with a lighthouse to the left, and ship to the right. The words ‘HALF PENNY’ are around the top, with the date below.
